Концерт Столичного Симфонического Оркестра в Малом зале Московской консерватории «Ф. Шуберт, Ф. Мендельсон».
Номинант «Грэмми», дирижёр Владимир Горбик выступит 30 января 2019 года с недавно созданным Столичным Симфоническим Оркестром в Малом зале Московской консерватории. Прозвучат Четвёртая «Трагическая» симфония Франца Шуберта и Первая симфония Феликса Мендельсона.
Эта музыка двух великих романтиков, полная возвышенной лирики и драматизма, нечасто исполняется в России. Обе симфонии принадлежат молодым гениям: 19 лет было Шуберту на момент создания Четвёртой симфонии; Мендельсон сочинил Первую симфонию в 15 лет. Эти партитуры можно охарактеризовать словами А. С. Пушкина: «Какая глубина! Какая смелость и какая стройность!».
Симфонии отличает классическая, почти моцартовская чистота, наполненная свежестью романтического чувства. Более 30 лет прошло с момента создания до первой публикации «Трагической» симфонии Шуберта. Она не была исполнена при жизни автора, который прожил всего 31 год.
Об оркестре
Столичный Симфонический Оркестр — молодой многообещающий коллектив. Он был основан известным московским дирижёром Владимиром Горбиком в марте 2017 года.
Первые выступления Столичного Симфонического Оркестра состоялись на сценах Большого зала Московской консерватории, Архиповского музыкального салона Международного Союза Музыкальных Деятелей, в Центре Исполнительских Искусств Университета Адельфи (Гарден-Сити, штат Нью-Йорк) и сразу же привлекли внимание прессы, как российской, так и зарубежной.
В ближайших планах гастролей оркестра — выступления весной 2019 года на открытии Международного фестиваля в Нью-Йорке «Российско-Американская Дружба на Манхэттене», в котором прозвучит музыка русских и американских композистов, а также концерты во Флоренции и выступления оркестра с оперными певцами Италии в Москве.

Concert of Capital Symphony Orchestra “F. Schubert, F. Mendelssohn” at the Small Hall of the Moscow Conservatory.
Conductor Vladimir Gorbik, Grammy Award Nominee, will perform with the newly established Capital Symphony Orchestra at the Small Hall of the Moscow Conservatory on January 30, 2019. The program will feature Franz Schubert’s Symphony No. 4 “Tragic” and Felix Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 1.
The music of these two monumental Romantics, imbued with sublime lyricism and dramatic intensity, is infrequently performed in Russia. Both symphonies are the work of young geniuses: Schubert was merely 19 years old at the time of composing his Fourth Symphony, while Mendelssohn composed his First Symphony at the age of 15. These scores can be characterized by the words of A. S. Pushkin: “What depth! What audacity, and what structural harmony!”
The symphonies are distinguished by a classical, almost Mozartean purity, suffused with the freshness of romantic sentiment. More than 30 years elapsed between the composition and the inaugural publication of Schubert’s “Tragic” Symphony. It was never performed during the lifetime of the author, who lived to be only 31 years old.
About the Orchestra
Capital Symphony Orchestra stands as a highly promising ensemble. It was founded by the renowned Moscow conductor Vladimir Gorbik in March 2017.
The inaugural performances of Capital Symphony Orchestra took place on the stages of the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, the Arkhipova Musical Salon of the International Union of Musical Artists, and the Performing Arts Center at Adelphi University (Garden City, NY), immediately capturing the attention of both Russian and international press.
